Why do people feel, think and act the way they do? How well do you understand human nature? Did you know that emerging science, such as quantum physics, is heralding a new paradigm showing how we are all connected with each other, and with nature and the cosmos, at the deepest level? We are at a crossroads, faced with the need to make a choice: do we continue on the unconscious path we have been on for thousands of years or do we choose a different path and a different vision of reality to guide us?Join scholar, Jungian analyst and cosmic poet Anne Baring for this fascinating talk tracing how we lost our former profound relationship with nature and the cosmos during the Solar Era (2000BC-2000AD), and with it the Feminine Principle, leading to the ecological and spiritual crisis the world is now facing. As the thinking changes and new science is offering us a revelation in our understanding of reality and our own nature, she points to the re-emergence of the Divine Feminine as our saving grace.Kaylo is bringing you this valuable talk free of charge. We hope you find it enriching, informative and inspiring. There will be time for questions at the end.
LOCATION: St Ethelburga's Centre, 74 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AGTHIS EVENT HAS NOW SOLD OUT“All doubt, despair and fear become insignificant once the intention of life becomes love… Love is the bridge between you and everything” - RumiJoin us as we gather LIVE in community for this ceremony to connect to the wisdom of our beating hearts and the transformative power of the dance. We will begin our journey with the beautiful heart-opening medicine of ceremonial cacao. Central American ancestors used cacao as far back as 1900BC as a health elixir and ceremonial medicine to heal the mental, physical and spiritual body.As we set our intentions, we drop into an immersive and guided dance journey - tending to both the slow, deep, quiet spaces and the wild, free, expressive places of our hearts. Our movement becomes medicine, as we align the inner compass of the heart towards a greater sense of compassion for ourselves, each other and the wider web of life. Collectively we rise and radiate our love as a blessing into the world.TIMINGS1.00pm-1:20pm Arrival & Smudging1:30pm-4.30pm Cacao Ceremony & Movement MedicinePlease note we ask everyone to arrive by 1:20pm and the doors will close at 1:30pm. We’re creating a sacred container for your journey and ask that everyone arrive on time so we can start together. Thank you.MINDFULNESS IN DRINKING CACAOAs we work with cacao in an intentional way, we peel away the layers and come into deeper connection with our emotional centre and the intelligence of our own hearts. Aside from its many physical health benefits (vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties, immune system boosting etc) it is a powerful yet gentle plant medicine that supports our inner-work and facilitates a deep inner meditation. The mood-enhancing neurotransmitters in cacao have a nourishing effect on humans - opening body, mind and heart. Please be aware of the following when drinking ceremonial cacao:‣ Our beautiful blend contains date syrup, tahini and spices. If you cannot have any of these, please get in touch no later than 24 hours prior to the event.‣ Arrive hydrated - drink lots of water before - and avoid caffeine or other stimulants on the day and alcohol the night before. Eat something light a few hours before the ceremony (plant based is great) and then we suggest you refrain from eating so that the cacao can be easily absorbed.‣ As cacao is a stimulant, you may want to start with less and then gradually increase to find the balance that works for you. After your first sip of cacao, wait about 30 mins before drinking water, so the cacao has time to land in the body. Cacao is great for detoxing, so drink plenty of water afterwards.‣ Important to note that certain medications, such as some SSRI and MAO inhibitor antidepressants, do not mix well with cacao due to the tyramine in chocolate.‣ If you have high blood pressure or a heart condition, please be aware that the active ingredient theobromine increases heart rate and lowers blood pressure.‣ Pregnant or breastfeeding women - please be aware of the stimulating effect of cacao. Our movement is the medicine - so even if you choose not to imbibe the cacao or have a micro dose, we are all held in the strong container of our dance together.SAFETY NOTEThe safety and well-being of our community are paramount. Please take a free lateral flow test in advance, and if it is positive, or if you're exhibiting any covid-related symptoms, we ask you not to come in person but head to our streaming platform and join us virtually instead.

Shamanism is one of the oldest spiritual technologies on our planet, with roots in every continent. It speaks to us because it is part of our ancestral memory, and because we are wired to see in the dark, to dream. In these uncertain times, we need more than ever to be able to dream, to see with our eyes closed, to imagine a way forward. What might shamanism have to teach us about survival and healing? How might we benefit from this ancient worldview – one that sees all life as interconnected and sacred? One in which we remember ourselves as part of the sacred web of life? How might we use shamanic practices to bring balance, connection and hope to our lives today? In this 90-minute sacred circle, Helen will share wisdom about the shamanic worldview, and guide participants on a journey to reconnect with our ancient shamanic wisdom.

Venus / Aphrodite, Queen of Night, is the third brightest wandering star of nightlight. Her brilliant light and diamond beauty have inspired our upward human gazes for eons. To dwell deep with Venus - her myths, her movement in the sky, her wild beauty - is to come into contact with the scope of energy that we humans have called 'feminine'. In this workshop, we will discover how Venusian beauty inspires our lives in known and unknown ways. We will dig deeper to feel into her qualities of flow and emergence in our lived life, our somatic sensations. We'll explore how to cultivate and amplify these out from the blankets of patriarchy, and from tendencies both within ourselves and the world around. Our journey together will animate your innate sensitivity, with Venus as our guide. All of astrology and planetary awareness is a living rather than a knowing, that moves you and within you. The art of astrology helps and enables us to recognise this presence or absence. Astrological awareness is no different from ecological sensitivity, and it invites us to tune our body to the rising, stirrings, spiralling desires, longings and magnetic draws are being denied, blocked or ravenously pursued. This is the Venusian realm, akin to the qualities of the feminine. When we know how to hear, then we can cultivate the sensitivity to tend, repair and reclaim what has been disallowed. Venus is present in all our desires, attractions, aesthetic choices and values. Developing an intimate relationship with her will enhance awareness and aliveness for all these areas in life. In this workshop you will: • Learn where Venus is located in your chart and in the sky• Build connectivity with the cosmos, offering an expanded, deepened sense of your lived life• Enhance aliveness to your desires, attractions, aesthetic choices and values• Come away with a sense of how we are couched within and cared for by vast cosmological cycles and beings• Begin to recognise how the cosmos, the planets, are always messaging and moving through you - your individual life and the world at large - bringing wonder, awe, a deep sense of trust, calm and spaciousness within our body and being at all levels
With Alex BedoyaIntegrating somatic body therapy, shamanism and coaching, Alex helps women uncover and release those parts of their physical, emotional and spiritual bodies which have become stuck either through past trauma or other unresolved issues. Inside each of us is an inner child who did not get the holding and emotional nourishment needed during our childhood years. Science tells us that 80% of a child’s brain develops by the time he or she is three years old. Our most foundational experiences happen in the womb, and who we become as adults is deeply influenced by experiences in our earliest days, months and years on this planet.
The ancient spiritual technology of shamanism – once alive on every continent – can assist us in going back to our earliest experiences and repairing them.
In this healing circle, guided with gentle shamanic wisdom by Helen, we will use storytelling and shamanic journeying to open a sacred doorway and move through it to bring holding, and deep nourishment to the inner child.

Childhood is the most critical period of our human lives. Science tells us that 80% of a child’s brain develops by the time he or she is three years old. Our most foundational experiences happen in the womb, and who we become as adults is deeply influenced by our earliest days, months and years on this planet. If we spent our first weeks in an incubator, or our mother fell ill before we were old enough to walk, or we experienced some other kind of deprivation in these early years, it is likely we continue to yearn for the safety, holding, nurturing and unconditional love we did not fully receive. As adults we can feel ungrounded, disconnected, sad, needy, and overwhelmed with longing. But all is not lost. The ancient spiritual technology of shamanism – once alive on every continent – can assist us in going back to our earliest experiences and repairing them. In this healing circle, guided with gentle shamanic wisdom by Helen, we will use storytelling and shamanic journeying to open a sacred doorway and move through it to bring holding, and deep nourishment to the inner child.“When our childhood needs were unfulfilled, they left a psychic wake: grief at the loss and a long, plaintive, interior cry for what we missed.” - David Richo
